In most cases, no — Truepic Vision requires photos to be taken live in the app to ensure verified, tamper-proof media. However, some inspections are configured to allow gallery uploads for specific question types.
The ability to upload existing photos depends on how your company configured the inspection in our system. If they enabled this option when creating your case, you may be able to upload existing photos (ones not taken in the Truepic Vision app). Otherwise, you must take all photos and videos using the camera within the Truepic Vision app to submit an inspection.
How to tell if gallery upload is available: If your inspection supports gallery uploads, you will see a gallery icon when capturing a photo.
