This information pertains to the Vision Web App only. Links for this web app begin with web.truepicvision.com.

If your link begins with app.truepicvision.com or visionbytruepic.com, or if you have been asked to use the Truepic Vision app, this information will not be applicable.

If the Truepic Vision Web App cannot access your location on Android, follow the steps for your Android version below.

The error should display like in the screenshot below.

  1. Go to the Settings app on your Android device and select Apps.

  2. Go to Chrome.

  3. Go to Permissions.

  4. Find Location. If it is not allowed, click on it.

  5. Change Location permissions to either Allow While Using this App or Ask every time, and ensure Use Precise Location is enabled below it.

  6. Return to Chrome and open the web app. If you cannot find the Chrome app, open the link you received for the web app.

  7. In the address bar, locate the icon that looks like two lollipops sideways and click it.

  8. Click Permissions.

  9. Ensure Location is Allowed. If it is blocked, toggle it to Allowed.

  10. Return to the web app, refresh the page, and click Allow Access under Precise location access.

  11. Chrome will prompt you to allow location permissions. Click either Allow option.

The precise location error is now resolved. You can proceed with using the Vision Web App.
