To delete an image or video, first select the image or video you want to delete from the Inspection page.
Then, tap the trash icon in the upper-right corner of the screen:
Why Can't I Delete a Media File?
It is important to note that photos, videos, or other media cannot be deleted from the Truepic app while uploading. During the upload process, the system temporarily disables the delete function, so you will not see the trash icon.
Solution:
Wait for the upload to complete before attempting to delete the media. Once the upload is finished, you will regain access to the delete feature.
General Tips for Handling Stuck Uploads or Pending Media
Ensure a stable internet connection to prevent uploads from getting stuck.
Avoid closing the app during an upload process to minimize interruptions.
If an upload remains stuck, try restarting the app or your device before reinitiating the upload. For additional assistance, you can reach out to Truepic support directly. They can provide further guidance in resolving specific upload issues.
Some companies do not allow deletions in the app.
No images or videos can be deleted after submitting your inspection to the company who requested it, unless they send you a new link to alter your submission.
You cannot delete images or videos that show a "pending" status. These images or videos are not yet uploaded and therefore cannot be deleted; it is best to simply retake them.- Pending photos or videos cannot be deleted directly in the app because they have not yet been uploaded to Truepic servers. To proceed, you can either submit without the pending media or retake it and allow it to upload. If retaken, notify support to ensure the updated inspection is submitted correctly.
