You Don't Need an Account to Use Truepic Vision

Written by Eury

You don't need to create an account to use the Truepic Vision app. Access is granted through the Smartlink you receive — just tap the link and follow the setup steps. There is no password or sign-up process for end users.

How it works

  1. The company requesting the inspection sends you a Smartlink via SMS or email

  2. Tap the link directly on your phone or tablet to open it

  3. Your browser opens to a "Ready to get started?" page — tap Copy & Continue

  4. The Truepic Vision app opens and your inspection begins

Native app links begin with app.truepicvision.com. Web app links begin with web.truepicvision.com. Either way, the process is the same — just tap the link.

Haven't received your link yet?

Truepic does not create or send inspection requests. If you're expecting one but haven't received it, contact the company that asked you to complete the inspection and ask them to resend it. Also, check your spam or junk folder.

Downloaded the app but can't get in?

If you downloaded the Truepic Vision app from the App Store or Google Play Store and try to open it without a Smartlink, you won't be able to log in. You'll see a login screen like this:

Note: The Log In button in the Truepic Vision Native app (beside the Corporate App Account shown above) is only for those who work for Truepic or their partner companies. The Log In button will not work if you are an end user receiving a Smartlink.

You cannot sign up for the Truepic Vision app for personal use. The only way to access an inspection is through your Smartlink. Wait until you receive a link via SMS or email.

Seeing a login screen, email prompt, or account setup screen?

If you have a Smartlink but the app is asking you to log in, enter your email or phone number, or create an account, something went wrong with how the link was opened — this is not a normal step. See the troubleshooting guides below:
